The LNP Cymru team is growing!

01/06/20/21
LNP Cymru have welcomed two new members to the team! Get to know our new starters Danny and Monisah.

Danny Owen, Impact Officer
Danny joined the LNP team in May 2021. He’ll be helping the team demonstrate the vital impact of Local Nature Partnerships in Wales’ communities – gathering stories and data that feed into our reports to funders, as well as contributing to our external communications.

Before joining LNP he was a member of the core communications team at WCVA and is passionate about communicating the essential role of the voluntary sector to a range of audiences.

Outside of work, Danny is an avid music fan, and loves recording and performing his own music. He’s a fluent Welsh speaker, and enjoys reading, running (slowly) and gardening. He’s looking forward to learning more about the environmental sector and what we can do to ensure a Wales that’s green and full of life for future generations.

Monisah Ali, Communications and Administration Support Officer
Monisah started working with LNP Cymru in April 2021. Her role involves publicising, promoting and reporting on all of LNP Cymru’s activities both internally and externally. She also provides administrative support to the team and our partners.

Her activism in youth volunteering led her to pursue a career in the third sector and she is excited to continue her journey with LNP.

In her free time, you can either find Monisah on her skateboard, yoga mat or in front of her sewing machine adding to her me-made wardrobe. She hopes to gain a better understanding of the benefits of the natural environment to people and the planet and find creative ways to promote LNP Cymru’s work across Wales.

The LNP Cymru project is now in its third year and our new staff members will contribute to monitoring the impact of the project and the sustainability of its future. We wish them a warm welcome to the team!
